No. 59 occupies arguably one of the best spots on the road.

Not only have you got fields to one side, you’re also on a corner plot and, from every room at the rear, you’ve got the most incredible views across the surrounding area. On a clear day, you can see right over towards Manchester city centre!

The house itself has been extended and completely, and very tastefully, renovated by the current owner. The result is a home with a brilliant amount of space that I think would work perfectly for any family.

You’ve got four good-sized bedrooms, with the main bedroom also benefiting from its own en-suite.

Entering from the front, you step into the hallway, with a small flight of stairs leading up and another leading down. On this entrance level, you’ll find one of the bedrooms along with a really useful utility space.

Head upstairs and you’ve got the remaining bedrooms, the family bathroom and en-suite. There’s also a large ‘crawl-in’ loft space accessed through the bathroom, giving you an incredible amount of storage. (along with a large loft space within the roof area)

Back to the entrance level and down the small flight of stairs, you reach the lower ground floor, and this is where the house really starts to open up.

You’ve got a fantastic open-plan kitchen, living and dining space. It’s been opened up to create three clearly defined areas, but everything still flows together really nicely. It’s bright, spacious and the kitchen itself is fitted with an incredible range of units.

You’ve also got a downstairs WC, while an archway from the open-plan space leads you into a further living room.

I’d argue this is one of the best rooms in the house. You’ve got a contemporary log burner creating a lovely focal point, but even that struggles to compete with the views. Take a seat on the sofa, look out across the garden and beyond, and you’ll understand exactly what I mean.
Outside is where this home really comes into its own.

As mentioned, it’s an incredible plot. There’s a large driveway with pretty much as much parking as you could need, a beautifully maintained front garden and a detached garage.
Behind the garage, you’ve then got what I’d describe as a dream home office. Completely separate from the main house and with views towards the fields from the window, it’s a pretty special place to work from home.

Down the side of the house, a secure gate leads into the rear garden. It’s beautifully maintained, easy to look after and, quite genuinely, one of the most private gardens I’ve seen.
You’ve got a large lawn, decked seating area and patio, all making the most of those spectacular views.

All in all, this is a beautiful home in a brilliant location. There’s loads of space for a family, an incredible plot and views that are genuinely difficult to beat.

If you’re looking for a detached family home in High Lane, I genuinely don’t think there are many better options.
